Aaron has been a competitive swimmer since the age of 6 where he first learned how to swim at the UACJ in Juarez, Mexico. In his club days, he spent his age group / HS career at AAAA Northside. He swam for Brandeis High School in San Antonio from 2011 to 2014, where he was a UIL 5A state champion and a team captain. He attended the University of the Incarnate Word from 2014 to 2019, where he was a member of the Men’s Swimming & Diving team that won multiple conference championships and also served as team captain. He has coached and swam at almost all levels of the sport, from summer league to the national level. He strongly believes that Streamline provides swimmers the best opportunity to succeed at the club level within the city of San Antonio.
Aaron believes that an environment high on positivity and filled with love for the sport births great, fast swimming. Growing up through the sport, he believes that swimming has shaped him into the person and coach he is today. The qualities instilled within him are what drive him to pass along as much knowledge as possible to these young swimmers, giving them the chance that his past/current coaches have given him.
Coming from a large swim club in the Alamo Area to Streamline has shown him what advantages working in a smaller club has. From top to bottom, Aaron says, “This organization generates the best environment for young swimmers to have the opportunity to achieve anything and everything they want in the sport.”

Coach Cody grew up in Norwalk, Ohio, where his love for the water began at an early age. He swam competitively through school and has remained deeply connected to the sport through coaching, officiating, and Masters swimming. His journey from athlete to coach is rooted in a belief in hard work, resilience, and building meaningful relationships with every swimmer.
Cody brings over a decade of coaching experience across multiple levels, including age group, high school, club, and national-level teams. He has worked with athletes ranging from developmental swimmers to national-level competitors, emphasizing technical development, mental toughness, and long-term athlete growth.
Beyond the pool, Coach Cody serves as the Safe Sport Chair for South Texas Swimming, reinforcing his commitment to athlete safety, accountability, and positive team culture. His coaching philosophy centers on the belief that real progress comes from consistent effort and disciplined habits. He challenges swimmers to embrace hard work—even when no one is watching—because confidence is built through preparation, integrity, and showing up every day ready to improve.
Michelle began swimming at the age of four and has been connected to the sport ever since. As she grew in the water, she developed a strong appreciation for proper technique, consistency, and the confidence that swimming can build at a young age. By the time she was sixteen, Michelle began teaching private swim lessons, working closely with swimmers to help them develop strong fundamentals and feel comfortable in the pool.
Michelle enjoys working with new and developing swimmers, focusing on building correct technique early while helping athletes grow at their own pace. She believes that a strong technical foundation not only creates faster swimmers, but also builds confidence and long-term success in the sport. Watching swimmers gain confidence, improve their skills, and discover what they are capable of is what drives her passion for coaching.
Outside of the pool, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Sol. She is excited to be part of the Streamline Aquatics coaching staff and looks forward to helping swimmers grow both in and out of the water.
Eric brings a structured, athlete-centered approach to strength and conditioning, focused on helping swimmers build strong foundations, move efficiently, and develop confidence through training. With years of experience leading athletic programs and working across competitive sports environments, Eric understands how intentional training supports both performance and long-term athlete development.
Throughout his career, Eric has worked closely with coaches and athletes to build programs that emphasize proper movement, consistency, and accountability. He believes that strength and conditioning should complement what athletes do in the water, helping them become more resilient, disciplined, and prepared to meet the demands of their sport.
Eric is passionate about teaching athletes how to train with purpose and take ownership of their development. He enjoys helping swimmers understand the connection between dryland work and success in the pool and takes pride in watching athletes grow stronger—both physically and mentally—over time. He is excited to be part of the Streamline Aquatics coaching staff and to support swimmers at every stage of their journey.

Coach Matthew began swimming at the age of six, with the Leon Valley Blue Marlins. In 2014, city hall decided to close down the pool the Marlins trained at. Matthew, along with many members of the team, went to many city hall meetings to protest. He asked his mother to make a mascot suit to aid the effort to keep the pool open, and thus Merlin the Marlin was born. After ensuring the pool remained open, Matthew starred as Merlin in every 4th of July parade and every big meet until the Marlins were eventually disbanded in 2017.
Matthew began training with the AAAA Nadadores, under Coach Don Walker, the same year the Marlins shut down. The following summer, Matthew joined the Northchase Piranhas as both an athlete and coach. He continued coaching summer league until 2024, becoming Head Coach of the new Leon Valley Lionfish in 2023, training at the same pool he fought to keep open almost ten years prior.
Matthew swam all throughout high school and beyond and currently is competing with the UIW Triathlon club. Matthew recently graduated from Northwest Vista College with an A.S. in Biology, and is currently studying Biochemistry at UIW. Matthew is studying to work in sports physiology research, specializing in swim related topics.
Coach Matthew firmly believes that we should strive to be excellent in all that we do, because how we do anything is how we do everything. “There are three things that define us as swimmers that have nothing to do with time standards and medals. One, our dedication to excellence. Two, how we can perform when conditions are not ideal. Third and most importantly, our impact on those around us at practice, meets, and everywhere else."
Grace has been a competitive swimmer since 2013, when she first joined a small club team in Oklahoma. In 2014, she relocated to Texas and began competing with the Alamo Area Aquatics Association, further developing her passion for the sport. In 2017, she qualified for the Zones team and the Texas Select Camp—experiences that further fueled her passion. She spent her club years racing at meets like STAGS, TAGS, and Sectionals, and in high school at O’Connor, she competed at 6A State her junior and senior years.
Now entering her junior year at the University of the Incarnate Word, Grace is a member of the Women’s Swimming & Diving team, competing in events from sprint freestyle to backstroke, breaststroke, and the individual medley. She’s also earned MPSF All-Academic honors while pursuing her degree in Interior Design, balancing life as both a student-athlete and a coach.
Grace believes swimming doesn’t just build fast athletes—it shapes strong, determined, and reliable people. The sport has instilled in her discipline, resilience, and teamwork, qualities that guide her both in and out of the pool. Whether training, racing, or coaching, she strives to bring the same positive, growth-focused energy her own coaches gave to her.
