Record SMASHED!!
Hello Streamline Families!
What do you get when team up twin sisters with 2 brothers? A NEW NATIONAL AGE GROUP RECORD!!!
The squad of Averie Hager, Jaylee Hager, Bexon Harrison, and Will Harrison (the "quad H relay" as coined by Jonathan Dalley) broke the National Age Group Record in the Mixed 400 Free Relay by almost 2.5 seconds on Sunday morning!! They needed to break 3:08.50 and they went 3:06.14!!! Bexon started the race off with a personal best 43.69, topping his 2025 HS State silver medaling performance. His younger brother, Will, followed that up by going .03 from his best with his second best split ever in a 44.37. Averie was 3rd with a stellar split of 48.93, skipping completely over the 49 second mark to go her best split ever. To finish it off, Averie's twin sister Jaylee anchored the relay like she has done so many times this season and went a personal best of 49.15. Incredible swim by these 4 amazing athletes and even better people. Thank you to everyone that came out to support and make the whole experience incredibly memorable!!! You helped make this historic moment possible!!!
NAG Records are very hard to break because they represent the fastest time ever swam in history by 18&U swimmers in the US. That is why this is a huge accomplishment for our athletes and our club. BIG TIME! While these athletes might have made it look easy, a lot of work & sacrifice went into this opportunity, from our athletes to our coaches, and we want to take a moment to recognize that.
Congratulations again to these 4 amazing athletes! Thank you for paving the way and inspiring our whole club to continue to push our limits day in and day out!
